Mark sees patients at his private office in Tampa on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Appointments are generally scheduled during the daytime hours, though some limited evening hours may be available. Telephone and online therapy are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Formal consultation or psychotherapy can occur if you are located in Florida. For out-of-state residents, Mark can provide expert informal consultation or offer a second opinion on psychiatric diagnosis and recommended course of treatment.

Please note that Mark does not accept insurance. For patients using out-of-network benefits, statements can be provided. The fee for 45-minute psychotherapy is $160. In the psychoanalytic tradition, patients are charged the full fee for missed appointments.

The Psychiatric Diagnostic Clinic is intended for individuals seeking formal psychiatric diagnosis or a second opinion on an existing diagnosis. This service is especially useful for patients already working with other providers who want an independent, expert assessment grounded in scientific evidence and psychodynamic understanding.

Following a comprehensive evaluation, Mark provides a detailed written report that includes a diagnostic impression, discussion of differential diagnosis, and treatment recommendations. The goal is to support both patients and their treating providers by offering diagnostic clarity and expert clinical guidance.

Clinicians are free to make referrals for this purpose. The fee for diagnostic evaluation is $240.
